Flora Europaea microphanerophyte, Ph, 2n=35, pentaploid mesoxeric to xeric, from the forest-steppe to upper nemoral western Palearctic Prunetalia spinosae, Fagetalia, Quercetalia pubescentis R41, R3121, R34 habitats       One of the Rosa taxa with wine-fragrant leaves and with a quite unclear ecology. Also a very sporadic species. on a calcareous plateau above a steep cliff over the western entrance into Albesti, Constanta county, 7th of August 2006 dr.
